Frequently Asked Questions
We do it all to make your life easier!
1. How do we do business with you?
A- Most companies call and initiate a dialog, asking for a specific product or solution to a selection or execution problem. Some call needing more than a product idea. They ask for ways to integrate their sales program with a gift that captures their recipient's attention or appreciation. Listening to our clients' requests, we know which direction or what plan-of-action is required. After a decision is agreed to, we write up a full description of whatever is wanted or needed with all the costs, production time and email or fax it to you. We want our clients to be fully informed and have all the facts. With no surprises.
2- Can I fax you a copy of my logo?
A- No, we require Camera Ready artwork. A fax doesn't print straight crisp lines, or even stay the same size. We need your best artwork, so we can do our best artwork. We will send back your artwork if you tell us.
3- What is the best format to send artwork (E-mail or via disk)?
A- Our Art Department uses Coreldraw 9.0 for computerized layout of artwork. We can read Coreldraw (*.cdr), Adobe Illustrator (*.ai), Encapsulated Postscript (*.eps) and Postscript Interpreted (*.ps, *.eps) formats.
We want first and foremost VECTOR files. "EPS" At the end of a file name, or saving files in the EPS format, does not necessarily make them Vector files. For example, Photoshop files saved in the EPS format are usually bitmap files. If you are using a MAC we prefer Adobe Illustrator format (versions 3.0 - 7.0). Files MUST be saved on a high density disk (1.44 MB), Zip(100) disk, or a CD.
All text MUST be converted to curves (converted to paths or converted to outlines) this avoids conversion conflicts between your set of type fonts and ours (Please do not send your fonts).
Please make certain to include a printed copy with your disk or when E-mailing please fax or include with an ADOBE Acrobat (low resolution) copy of your artwork. This allows us to verify the accuracy of what we see from your computer file. Double-check that you are using a high density disk (HD) and have converted your fonts.
4- Will I get a proof?
A- Yes! We require a signed proof of each job. This protects us both. We want your job to be perfect. Therefore, we must start with artwork verified, confirmed, and accepted by you.
5- How can I get my work done faster than normal production time?
A- You just started the process. We have amazing relationships with our factories. If your special needs can be accomplished, they will be. You must alert us at the earliest possible moment to make it happen.
6- How do I get your catalog?
A- Just ask and we'll be most happy to send our materials on their way.
7- I can't find what I want in your catalog, what should I do?
A- Frequently, clients call in search of their special something. Our catalogs represent only the "tip of the iceberg". We have access to over 600,000 conventional promotional products. We, many times, have custom manufactured or done direct imports for clients.
The best thing, is to call us and talk it out. We can usually tell you right-there-and-then how we will resolve your search.
